CHIPPEWA LAKE — Village officials are campaigning to save the post office.
The mayor and Village Council member are urging residents to return surveys that were mailed to their homes in September.
The surveys ask recipients whether they favor reducing post office hours, moving it to another government office, library or store, or closing it down.
