MEDINA — A 74-year-old Sharon Township man was entered into a first offender’s program in Medina County courts for voting twice in the 2012 presidential election.
Thomas Losasso, of 6850 Ridge Road, pleaded guilty to a charge of illegal voting, a fourth-degree felony punishable up to 1½ years in prison. His conviction is pending, though, and the charge will be dropped if he completes the program.
County Prosecutor Dean Holman in November said Losasso was accused of voting in both Ohio and Florida. Losasso’s charge came as a result of an investigation by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Losasso does not have a party affiliation, according to county Board of Elections records.
