MEDINA — A Grafton woman pleaded no contest Monday to a series of Liverpool Township burglaries police say she and her husband committed.
Medina County Common Pleas Judge James L. Kimbler found Shannon R. Covey, 30, guilty on three counts of burglary, second-degree felonies. At her March 13 sentencing hearing, she could face eight or more years in prison.
Covey and her husband, 35-year-old Jerimiah N. Covey, were arrested in November. Police reported the Coveys were in possession of property recently stolen from a York Township home.
Jerimiah Covey awaits a March 5 trial on identical charges.
The couple remains in the Medina County Jail.
